| How often and for how long should a student ride? | |||
| Most
students ride 30 minutes or one hour once a week. The instructor decides
the length of the lesson based on age, ability and stamina of the rider.
Classes are held year-round. Students can advance their riding skills and
increase their strength by riding more often. |

| How are your instructors trained? | |||
| BEAT
currently has two instructors certified by the North American Riding for
the Handicapped Association (NARHA) and two in training. These registered
instructors have passed a testing process which evaluated their riding and
teaching skills as well as their knowledge in the areas of horsemanship,
disabilities and safety procedures to name a few. Each year instructors
are required to continue their education through workshops or seminars. |

| Will my insurance pay for therapeutic riding? | |||
| Most
insurance companies will not pay for therapeutic riding because it is considered
a recreational/sport activity. Some insurance companies will reimburse the
cost of hippotherapy which is conducted by a licensed physical or occupational
therapist trained in hippotherapy. We hope to offer hippotherapy in the
future. |

| How much do lessons cost? | |||
| Classes cost approximately $12-$15 per half-hour lesson, and $25.00 for a one hour lesson. Lessons will include (according to the rider's interest and abilities) grooming, tacking, riding skills, games and exercises. | |||
