My vision is for BEAT to continue to grow and prosper to help those who can benefit physically, mentally and emotionally by learning horsemanship skills.  I am proud of what we have accomplished the past 23 years. With help, we could accomplish even more!  Lives have been changed, not just the riders but also the people who work with our clients. They bring the CAN DO attitude even though so many have huge obstacles in their way. I have been blessed by each one of the students that have enriched my life through their accomplishments. It has been an honor to help riders achieve goals, rise up to their potential and follow their dreams. No matter what life throws at us or what people can try and take away, we will always have a choice on how we let it affect our lives. I choose the positive attitude in continuing to make a difference in people’s lives. I have chosen to share what God has been so generous in providing in my life to make a difference in many other lives as well.

I hope there are other people out there that feel the same way. As one stroke victim said,” I want not to just exist, I want to feel alive.” While riding one of our horses, she said, “For the first time in a long  time , I feel alive!” I ride to live! I live to help others ride!

“Life cannot be sold and when you run out, there is none to buy. It really makes you think about life with a different perspective.”

"Nothing is predestined: The obstacles of your past can become the gateways that lead to new beginnings."

Ralph Blum

"Look up and not down; look forward and not back; look out and not in; and lend a hand."
